Adopt a Bee(colony)
The bees need help and we make helping them our job!
There are a number of things you can (easily) do to help the bees. But not everybody has the possibility to become a natural beekeeper, place a natural hive, sow patches of soil with bee-friendly flowers for the bees and do the maintenance, or to find the most suited places to make nesting spaces for solitary bees.
We love to do this, have trained and experienced beekeepers that are good at it, know what’s best to sow and how to make efficiënt nestig spaces.
But we need your (financial) support to be able to do this. So you can adopt:
- Bees that we will provide with a natural home, for you.
I adopt bees (€ 0.15 / bee) = € 0
- A patch of flowers with bee-plants (€ 20 / square meter) that the bees need so hard at this point.
I adopt square meters = € 0
- A Bee-hotel or other nesting space (€ 70 / nesting space) for solitary bees or bumble bees.
I adopt nesting spaces = € 0
To finalize your adoption, transfer to the following account:

Place the name you want to have mentioned on our website and post on our Facebook page (that you can share if you want) in the description of your transfer.
ADOPT A BEE COLONY
More importantly, we are also looking for organisations or companies that want to adopt a whole bee colony on site or on one of our locations. In this case you sponsor a natural hive and it’s placement, populating the hive with a natural swarm of 5000-15000 bees and the maintenance of this colony for 3 years. We want to make sure that the bees are taken care of by well trained , (semi-) professional beekeepers (and not unexperienced volunteers like with many other organizations) that spend about 50 hours per year per colony.
At that time you will recieve a personal training by our beekeeping teacher, participation to our introduction course for 3 employees, mention as a partner on our site, your logo on the beehive and much more.
