The Wellbeeing Foundation consists of a community of beekeepers & friends committed to protecting bees & pollinators and fostering awareness of their crucial role in sustaining ecosystems.
We aim to improve the well-being of bees, by keeping them in a natural way. We are maintaining different natural beehives in several locations in the city of Amsterdam, placed on rooftops, in parks or city gardens.
We are looking for a motivated Fundraising Intern to join us! We are a small, dedicated team offering a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. Perfect for those keen to experience many different roles and a chance to diversify your portfolio.
How you will help:
- Fundraising and Donation management: Develop and implement fundraising strategies, actively reach out to potential donors during your internship, and cultivate relationships to enhance and maintain donor loyalty.
- Diversification of Income Streams: Identify and create new funding opportunities, such as grants and partnerships, while developing targeted marketing strategies to broaden financial support.
- Research project: Come up with interesting business solutions or research findings on how to make bee-preservation commercially relevant (sponsorship strategy).
- Administration and Organisation: Help keep our projects and volunteers on track by setting up meetings and staying on top of emails, updates, plans and administration of our foundation.
What you bring:
- You are motivated, creative and well organized with a passion for environmental issues.
- You are pursuing a degree in environmental science, communications, economics, business, politics, public relations, or a related field.
- You are a team-player but also able to work on your own
- Proficiency in Excel/Google sheets
- Fluent in English or Dutch
- You are mainly located in Amsterdam
- Experience in fundraising, marketing or non-profit organisations is a plus
